Pianist Steven P. James performs works by Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy, Price, and Scriabin.
Steven James is currently in the fourth year of obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Oregon. A member of the Alexandre Dossin piano studio, he has performed many of the American Liszt Society Events at the University of Oregon, including the most recent cycle of the complete Hungarian Rhapsodies. Steven maintains a small teaching studio in Eugene, in association with the Emily Lassen Piano Studio. When not practicing, teaching, researching, or listening to music, Steven is an avid fiction writer, pursuing a minor in Creative Writing from the U of O.
