THE OLD CHURCH
The Broadway Piano Trio, Eugene Howe violin, Jonah Thomas cello, & Ben Grimm piano, will be presenting a program of Brahms and Mendelssohn.
Eugene Howe is the concertmaster of the PSU orchestra. He has participated under scholarship at the Montecito, Rocky Ridge, and Aspen music festivals.
Jonah Thomas is a cellist for the Vancouver (WA) Symphony and Portland Chamber Music. He holds a cello performance degree from the Juilliard School, teaches at the Portland Youth Philharmonic, and is a composer of chamber and solo piano works.
Ben Grimm is pursuing a Master of Music degree at Portland State University. He was a national finalist in the MTNA chamber music competition (2019), and performs regularly in the Portland metro area.
