THE OLD CHURCH
Meadowlark, featuring Ann Van Bever oboe, Janet Bebb flute, & Besty Goy cello, perform works ranging from a Baroque trio sonata by Loeillet, to the Romanticism of Bruch, to the 20th century music of Martinu and Andriessen. Joining them is pianist Constance Jackson.
Founding members Janet Bebb (flute), Ann van Bever (oboe) and Betsy Goy (‘cello) wanted to expand the repertoire for their instruments while building on their creative bond. They also wanted to work with other instrumentalists in various combinations, with past collaborations including pianists Dianne Davies, Colleen Adent, and Susan McDaniel, and violist Ben Neubauer.
